How to Fuse Messiah in Persona 3 Reload

Requirement

Unlocking Messiah, as an endgame Persona, requires significant effort. First, you need to max out the Judgement Social Link. Similar to the Fool and Death Social Links, the Judgement Social Link unlocks automatically without the need to interact with a specific character.

However, this Social Link can only be leveled up during the Dark Hour inside Tartarus. You can max it out exclusively with the Nyx Annihilation Team (essentially S.E.E.S., but the name changes due to the shift in the team’s objective).

Defeat all required gatekeepers, and you’ll eventually max out this social link after getting to the Floor 255 of Tartarus, and defeating the gatekeeper on that floor.

Note: Reaching level 91 is a must to be able to fuse Messiah.

Fusing Messiah

After completing all requirements above, go to the velvet room, you can see that Messiah is now available to fuse. Unlike other personas that you can fuse using various combinations, you can only get Messiah by combining Orpheus and Thanatos.

You don’t need to worry about the material because you’ll have Orpheus since the start of the game, and reaching the requirement to fuse Thanatos after maxing it’s social link, Pharos automatically at 11/04.
